Even God Must’ve Smirked

Any devout Christian knows that it’s not proper sport to poke fun at the various ways one expresses their faith. That doesn’t mean that we don’t occasionally miss the mark. Sometimes those misses are just darn entertaining.

Engaging the youth has always been a tricky art-form. Sometimes art is good. Sometimes it’s not so good.

Below are some examples of exactly what NOT to do if the goal was to get the kids interested in Christ.

It’s wouldn’t be surprising if the Big Guy himself has these gems bookmarked.

What best describes how the current administration has affected the discussion of race and bigotry?
- Team Obama keeps fanning the flames. The fringes on both sides are dangerously close to the boiling point. Very concerned.
- The majority of the public, politically engaged or not, isn't fixated on race. They just go about their business. Life simply goes on. But regular folks on both sides are annoyed.
- Just by Obama's very Presidency... the discussion has progressed. Simple as that.
- Beyond the historic nature of Obama's election, Team Obama is continually improving the overall conversation by keeping discussions tethered to racial issues.
- None of these describe how I feel. I’m kinda hard to pin down. Plus I don’t like commitment.
